Citec acquires S&V Analysis Oy
Citec has acquired the structure vibration analysis and FEA calculations company S&V Analysis in Vaasa. The acquisition will strengthen Citec’s expertise within calculation.
S&V Analysis Oy is a Finnish company specialized in structure vibration analysis and FEA calculations. The company’s customers are global leading machine and processing industry companies.
“We want to be able to meet our customers’ needs for advanced calculation, modelling and measurement services. By acquiring S&V Analysis we strengthen our competence within this area and that will improve Citec’s position on the market”, says Martin Strand, CEO at Citec.
“As Citec is a large organization with more resources, this deal will put us in a more favourable position”, says Jouni Kivi, Managing Director at S&V Analysis. “Through Citec we will also be able to take part in larger projects and increase our sales activities towards the industry”, Kivi continues.
The Vaasa based company has successfully been supplying calculation services on the global market since 2001.
