Citec was assigned to make extensive improvements to a customer documentation set earlier made by another documentation company. The schedule was very tight (one month) as the customer had an important deadline coming up.

 

Citec Solutions

 

The Citec project team planned and specified a more concise, quality documentation set.

The documentation set was modified:

  • 700 pages with overlapping/superfluous information were cut off.
  • The quality of graphics was improved.
  • The documentation set structure was recreated and made more coherent.

The documentation set was published in both pdf and html format.

 

Customer’s Benefits

 

Citec recreated and published the much improved documentation set in only one month whereas the html publication had taken the earlier service provider 5 weeks.

The costs to the customer were reduced, and the project was a great success for both the customer and for Citec.

 

Key Results

 

Pleased with the end result, the customer ordered two similar improvement projects from Citec.
