Personnel and Social Responsibility

Our personnel – Citecians

At Citec Group, and in its group companies, we adhere to the applicable laws, Citec’s policies and our values; Impact, Excellence and Respect.

With respect to our personnel, training and competence development is key in order to strengthen our competitiveness as a service provider. We measure sick leaves as well as attrition rate regularly.

We monitor payment gaps regularly together with employee representatives. We conduct employee surveys regularly and take corrective actions.

At Citec we proactively promote health and safety to our employees with a working environment that is physically and psychologically safe and that enables Citecians to stay healthy at work. We promote well-functioning and safe working by taking both preventive as well as supportive actions related to physical well-being, mental well-being and social well-being. This also includes a safe and healthy work environment in own offices, working at customers premises and during business trips.

We respect each other’s freedom of thought, opinion, religion and assembly peacefully. Discrimination or harassment based on race, nationality, gender, age or any other reason is not tolerated.

Our stakeholders

Key stakeholder groups in our social matters are our customers, employees as well as suppliers. With regards to the key external stakeholders, we have various measurements and control mechanisms in place. We regularly follow customer satisfaction development, we take corrective actions, and our focus is on preventing quality non-conformities and doing continuous improvement.

Regarding suppliers, we conduct a pre-qualification to ascertain supplier compliance with laws and company policies.

Naturally also the communities where we operate are important. Citec Group donates to selected charities, focused on e.g. education and the environment, on an annual basis. In India, social responsibility activities are to certain extent mandatory and Citec Group naturally adheres to these regulations.

We take health and safety issues very seriously and we have risk management for the main health and safety risks in all our operations. There were no accidents at Citec during 2020.

UN Goals

We follow, in all our actions, the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact for human rights, labour, environmental responsibility and anti-corruption, as well as internationally acceptable ethical standards and business practices.

Citec promotes the UN Sustainable Development Goals such as good health and well-being (Goal 3). We aim to provide quality education to all employees (Goal 4),  gender equality (Goal 5) and are committed in reducing every kind of inequality (Goal 10).
