Citec has received a substantial order from the Swiss company Hitachi Zosen Inova AG, for the scope of providing piping detail engineering for a new Waste to Energy plant in West Yorkshire, the UK.

Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI) is the general contractor in the construction of this multi-fuel plant, which will generate electricity by thermal waste treatment. HZI has its headquarters in Zürich, Switzerland. The company is a global technology provider and contractor in the field of Waste to Energy facilities. They offer customized plant sections and turn-key plants, covering planning, design and engineering, construction and operation, as well as maintenance and overhaul of Waste to Energy plants.

Mr. René Erler, Technical Project Manager at Hitachi Zosen Inova, comments on the order: “Our decision to contract the detail engineering with Citec was based on their high standards in order to achieve an optimum time schedule and at the same time ensuring the required quality level for the engineering works.”
