Citec, specializing in multi-discipline engineering and product information services for the industry, has signed an extensive frame agreement with Sandvik Nora AB in Sweden. Sandvik Nora belongs to Sandvik Mining and Construction – a global leading provider of equipment for core drilling, rock excavation, processing, demolition, and bulk-materials handling.
The agreement covers both engineering and product information management services. Citec will supply technical manuals, technical illustrations, visualizations, project management, CE marking and systems support. Furthermore, Citec will be involved with product development projects in the segment of drilling rigs and accessories for the exploration of new mineral deposits. This includes mechanical engineering, strength calculations, quality studies and risk assessment.
Citec’s and Sandvik’s cooperation has already started and will expand during 2011.
