Citec has received a new project from Transtech. Transtech is a leading European manufacturer of double deck rolling stock and an contract manufacturer of demanding engineering workshop products. The project includes delivery of design work for newly ordered double deck coaches for VR, a broad-based Finnish transport company. VR serves public transport customers and freight service customers with rail and road transport services.
Citec’s work comprises of a modification and update of existing design for two different coach types; so called day coach type and conductor coach type. The project work is conducted by Citec’s experts within the rail vehicles engineering industry in Oulu, Finland.
