Our expertise

Citec provides solutions and consultant services including concept design, engineering, testing, development and project management. We also provide analysis, simulations, technical purchasing services as well as technical documentation.

Our experience extends to projects involving passenger coaches, commuter trains, light rail vehicles, freight wagons and special vehicles required for industry. We also have long experience of design and engineering work for refurbishment and modernizing projects for different rail vehicles.

 

 

For passengers

Our double deck passenger coach family (passenger cars, sleeping coaches and restaurant cars) has been specifically designed for comfort and to cope with those long journeys regardless of day or night travelling. High class comfort is ensured despite the harshest weather conditions. Our tram is designed for passenger comfort and long life time on demanding rails. We provide the complete service range including Feasibility study, concept design, specification of critical components, system integration, mock-ups, type tests, specifications, detailed design, technical documentation etc.

For cargo

Citec has developed over 30 types of different freight wagons in co-operation with several customers. The wagons have been designed to endure demanding conditions in Central Europe, the UK, Nordic Countries and Russia. Our offering includes an array of services like concept design, specification of critical components, detailed design, structural design, technical calculations, FE analysis, type tests, specifications, mock-ups, suspension design etc.
