Citec has signed an outsourcing frame agreement with ESAB AB in Sweden.
In connection with the outsourcing, the Technical Documentation department at ESAB will transfer to Citec. The new employees will be located at Citec’s Örebro office, in Sweden.
Citec signed a long-term partnership agreement with ESAB AB in 2011. ESAB is a world leader in the welding and cutting industries as well as an international supplier of products, know-how and services. Citec has been providing services for ESAB within project management, mechanical design and calculation as well as technical writing and illustration.

As a result of this agreement Citec’s office in Örebro will grow to eleven people and there is room to add more employees as the business in the area grows. “This is great city to be present in, as we are close to our customers here”, says Michael Smirnoff, Managing Director of Citec Sweden.
Besides ESAB, Citec also serves other customers, e.g., Sandvik Mining and Construction, Saab Dynamics and Rolls-Royce Marine, from the Örebro office.
