As a part of the updated strategy, Citec has decided to focus on a stronger development and commercialisation of its global technical documentation and digital offering. The target is to provide even more added value to our customers by establishing a new unit named Technical Documentation & Digital Solutions as of January 1, 2020. Mr. Jaakko Rintala has been appointed Vice President of this new global unit. Jaakko Rintala is a member of Citec Group’s management team reporting to Johan Westermarck, CEO.
Jaakko Rintala has been Chief Information Officer of Citec Group for six years, and prior to joining Citec, he has held several IT management positions at Cargotec and at Lindorff.
”I am truly excited to take up this opportunity to consolidate the technical documentation and the digital competence into one strong unit,” says Jaakko Rintala. ”Our aim is to build upon our strong portfolio of standard services, and also to become a strong player in providing digital solutions such as RPA and digital twin for both engineering and technical documentation needs. Technical Documentation & Digital Solutions currently consists of approximately 100 employees with the aim to grow in 2020. More information will follow during the coming months.
