Hello, Sreejith Nair, and welcome to Citec! Tell us about your background, please.

Thank you! I am the new Senior Project Controller in the Key Accounts team for Citec India and I joined Citec in November 2021. I have more than 17 years of experience in planning and project control in Onshore and Offshore sectors in greenfield and brownfield scenarios. I have executed more than 35 challenging EPC & EPCM projects where I handled schedule and cost as well as risk and supply chain management from initiation to handover stages.

I have a Chemical Engineering degree from Mumbai University.

You have worked all over the world for many big companies in this field. Why did you choose Citec?

After having travelled and worked in various countries for many years, I wanted to settle in India. I chose Citec because I want to work for a company which provides the right work atmosphere.

I believe that at Citec I can push myself to achieve the maximum potential.

How have your expectations been met after having worked at Citec for three months?

Really well. I’m loving it! Especially the amazing support given by everyone in the organisation and the freedom to endeavour on challenging projects while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Being in the Key Accounts team, I am handling the planning and scheduling for customer nuclear, multi fuel and gas power plant projects based in Mexico, Brazil, Finland and Indonesia. I coordinate the symbiosis of information and data from multiple site teams and stake holders with regards to scope and cost management of the project.

What is important for you in a work community and what makes Citec stand out?

I value the freedom, support from colleagues and from management as well as the team synergy. Also good work-life balance and appropriate remuneration are important for me. In my opinion we have all this at Citec.

I also believe the pioneer standard set by Citec with regards to ethical practices, work culture and technological advance is a benchmark in all respects.

What makes Citec stand out is, in my opinion, the technological edge and the initiative to attract, train, develop and retain the right people.

It’s great to have you onboard Sreejith!
