Cabin development for MSK harvester

Citec supported MSK in developing a cabin with tight schedule and building the cabin prototype through value engineering, fulfilling ergonomics and aesthetic requirements.

Project description

Design development of harvester cabin in cooperation with MSK’s design team.

Citec's scope

  • Understanding the modular concept design considering market requirement responsible for the value engineering of the parts.
  • Concept development, 3D modelling of cabin frame, interior and exterior panels, HVAC ducting, roof designing, seat mounting. A and B pillar ducting, doors and seat structure and mounting.
  • Preparation of part assembly and installation drawings and bill of materials.
  • Necessary modifications to enable serial production.

The Citec team included engineers from both Citec Finland and Citec India. At the end of the project, a Citec designer was stationed as consultant at the factory.
