Project description
Designing a process plant for Renewcell’s patented process where cellulosic textile waste, such as cotton clothes, are transformed into a pristine new material called Circulose®.
The cooperation between Citec and Renewcell started in 2020, when a pre-study was conducted by Citec. The plant in Sundsvall, Sweden, is planned to be in operation in the first half of 2022.
Citec is happy to provide project management, process design as well as layout and piping design for the plant in Sundsvall. The project is estimated to include experts from Karlstad, Stockholm and Vaasa.
