Citec's scope

  • Citec provided consultation in concept design of transport frame for equal distribution of load on SPMT (Self Propelled Modular Transporter).
  • Structural optimization and validation.
  • Preparation of 3D models.
  • Preparation of detailed manufacturing drawings.

The challenge was to distribute the crane load uniformly over the SPMT to avoid overloading of axle.
