Project description

AE&E provided a Waste-to-Energy (WtE) plant as EPC to the city of Oslo. The plant delivers both electricity and district heating. The capacity of the unit is 160 000 tonnes/year, producing max 70 MW DH, norm 55.4 MW DH (heat demand of 40 000 households) and 10.5 MW electricity (electricity consumption of 20 000 households).

Citec's scope

Citec delivered basic and detail engineering for the district heating system at the Klemetsrud WtE plant. The multi-discipline scope included process, mechanical & piping and civil engineering and also a lead commissioning engineer on site.
