Europe’s most powerful electric vehicle (EV) charging hub – and the UK’s largest – is coming to Oxford, as part of Energy Superhub Oxford. Developed by Pivot Power, part of EDF Renewables, in partnership with Oxford City Council, the site will be home to 38 fast to ultra-rapid chargers. It’s the first of up to 40 similar sites Pivot Power has planned across the UK, to help decarbonise transport and accelerate a net zero future. The target was to 
create an animation for shareholders and marketing needs showing the designed hub in its functional state with people using the facility – travelling via bus and bike while their vehicles are charging in the hub. The feedback from our customer Pivot Power has been very positive.

Citec has created 3D animations for more than 20 years, and we have an efficient pipeline to deliver photorealistic end results from various source materials, to suit whatever needs our customers might have. Animations can be used for any customer, on whatever state of their product lifetime. Usually we make them to show something that is not yet made, i.e. to showcase and illustrate projects in the planning or design phases.
