Nils-Erik Hannisdal has decided to step aside as Managing Director for Citec Norway AS and as Director for Citec’s Region Europe, Plant Engineering Norway. He is succeeded by Espen Berg, currently Senior Project Manager, Plant Engineering Europe at Citec. Nils-Erik will continue as Sales Director in same organisation.

Espen Berg is educated at Oslo College of Engineering and Iowa State University, USA, and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Espen started his career in Aker, and has later worked in Read Process, ABB and Aibel before being one of the founders of M7 Offshore, which was sold to Citec in 2013. Espen has extensive experience in all the focus areas within Citec Norway, i.e. Oil & Gas, LNG and New Energy.

“I feel very honoured and excited to get this opportunity to lead Citec Norway into the next chapter. My main focus will be to build upon the solid foundations laid down by Nils-Erik and continue keeping Citec a great place to work, with satisfied customers and a sound growth”, says Espen Berg.

The change will be effective as of September 1, 2018, but Nils-Erik and Espen will work alongside during a transition period.

“I want to thank Nils-Erik for his strong contribution to Citec in Norway”, says Johan Westermarck, CEO. “Nils-Erik has made a significant job together with his team. I am happy that we can continue to cooperate with Nils-Erik in his new role. At the same time, I feel very confident that Espen will continue to develop Citec’s operations in Norway and grow with strong customer satisfaction. I wish Espen all the best in his new role”, Johan ends.
